Manchester-Bedford Myoskeletal (MBM) is transitioning into an Electronic Health Records and Health Maintenance Records (EHR/EMR) system during the month of February. Our new system will include a HIPAA-compliant Patient Portal for health records and maintenance, secure appointment scheduling and communications, including telehealth, email and SMS (text), messaging, file transfers and sharing, invoicing, and payments.
We are currently in the setup phase of this new and exciting service. Once implemented, current MBM patients will be able to sign into the portal and:
- Schedule, reschedule, waitlist, change, and cancel their appointments
- Communicate via secure messaging directly with the Myoskeletal Therapist
- Setup communication preferences
- Setup payment information
- Participate in a telehealth visit for certain services
- Upload letters and reports (such as radiology reports) for us to review
- View and print invoices and statements, and;
- Update insurance and other personal information
New patients will be able to sign into the portal once we activate their accounts and:
- View, complete online, and submit clinic forms
- Upload files for review
- Setup communication preferences and payment information, and;
- Communicate via secure messaging directly with the Myoskeletal Therapist.
We will eventually phase out the use of the Acuity Scheduler current patients are so familiar with. However, most of what you are familiar with in Acuity Scheduling will be incorporated into the new system. It’ll just be better.
